Fashion creators Teja Jeglič and Manca Končnik have joined forces, intertwining the fashion story of jewelry and handbags to create the collection CRYSTAL DREAMS. You have probably already heard of fashion designer Teja Jeglič, as her handbags are a true success story. Teja is a fashion designer by education, specializing in designing handbags and fashion accessories. “I have always been passionate about fashion and everything related to it, so I embarked on the path of clothing design at the Faculty of Design. I also spent some time in England, where I studied fashion design at Leeds College of Art. It was there that I created the Teja Jeglič Design brand,” reveals the designer, who is still admired by fashion enthusiasts and can often be found on the website www.tejajeglichdesign.com.

“At first, I dabbled in design, creating clothing and then jewelry, but I became fascinated with creating fashion accessories, particularly handbags. In addition, I also launched my own perfume. Since 2014, I have been successfully operating in the Slovenian market.” Apart from online shopping, Teja also has a studio where anyone interested can choose a unique design, located at Kvedrova ulica 5a in Ljubljana.

When her handbags and backpacks became a true success story, she quickly faced competition as some started to copy her work. “You know how the saying goes about a good horse, right? I didn’t worry too much about it because I stand behind each of my pieces, which are the result of my imagination and expertise and are made in Slovenia. When fashion enthusiasts embraced the fashion accessories, our team decided to expand our offerings to include clothing, and after the new year, new and bigger stories are to follow,” she reveals.

Mancca: The story of geometric jewelry

Manca Končnik’s story has always been intertwined with creation, from drawing and design to jewelry. Her desire to create was so great that her mother had to constantly buy her the necessary materials. “I started taking fashion seriously about four years ago when the first fashion product accidentally came to life,” explains Manca, who was previously immersed in the world of painting.

Her abstract paintings also led her to laser-cut geometric shapes to be used as wall details. “I have been connected to geometry since I was little. And since there were small leftover pieces from larger cuts, I started putting them together, and the idea for ‘crazy statement pieces’ was born in an instant. They called for the birth of a new story,” says Manca, who can be found on the website www.studio-mancca.com.

Her brand, Mancca, is primarily based on clean lines and geometric elements intertwined with various materials that add softness to sharp lines. She plays with plexiglass, sand, glitter, chains, crystals… It is intended for urban, fashionable, and confident women who are not afraid to stand out from the crowd with a bold piece that catches the eye. She creates not only fashion “accessories” but independent fashion pieces that bring life and make a statement. The brand has its roots in 2011 but has focused on creating fashion accessories for the past four years. It has grown through collaborations with renowned Slovenian designers and celebrities, with statement pieces being part of it.
